Loosing Weight in Holidays
Contrary to what many people love to think, holidays offer the best time for dieters and fitness planners. All that you have to do is stay conscious of your aim.
Following are the guidelines that you may easily follow to loose weight and avoid those nasty pounds during holidays.
- Stay Active: It is difficult to follow the regular routine in a holiday, or else a holiday would cease to be one! However, there are many activities going around you on a holiday. People enjoy games, sports, sea surfing, mountaineering, cycling, or simply running here and there to have the fun of holiday. Get yourself involved in these activities. They would entertain you as well as hasten your body metabolism, burn fat, and use the stored up energy.
- Fun Eating: Holidays mean eating and enjoying, right? Well, if you completely stay off from all the delicious food on a holiday, it would be hard on you. So try this- Eat whatever you want, but only half of what you would normally have. Then forget food for a couple of hour or so, and then repeat it. Continue this through the day, and you would find at end that you have enjoyed the holiday completely without gaining in fat and weight.
- Say No to Alcohol: Alcoholic beverage contains lot of calories and worse, they make you groggy so that you can not even go out and burn the calories. So if you are on a fitness plan, you have to say no to alcohol except an occasional drought.
- Plan your Weight Scale:Before going on a holiday measure your weight. Then make a decision how much you intend to loose further during the holidays. When you get back find how much you have been able to achieve. It would help you to reprogram your next holiday in realistic terms.

People face real problem with a fitness plan when they believe that holidays release them from all their diet and exercise constraints. But fitness plans are designed for a long duration to give a long term benefit. As such it is important for people to understand that they should not let suffer their long time objectives for a couple of days of frivolous entertainment.
